Description:

This is an evolution of bfs2pack by Karok. Now bfs2pack is smart enough to know what files to pack and what files to store when building a bfs archive, instead of using a global configuration (all compressed or all stored). The console mode can extract only a subset of the files in the bfs, using some file filters (sea Readme.txt for details).

This is achieved by using a template file (bfs2pack.ini in same directory as binary by default). You can use a different template with the console version of bfs2pack, but be sure to know what you're doing, because compressing files that must stay uncompressed make the game crash, and it's very easy to make a mistake with joker characters in template.

Syntax and instructions on how template files work are at the beginning of bfs2pack.ini file.

If the GUI version cannot load the template file, then it opens a warning window and behaves as previous version (ask if you want to use safe mode), otherwise nothing is asked to user.

Notes:

• the zlib1.dll is not needed any more
• you just need the binary (console or GUI version) and bfs2pack.ini in same directory
• if you are using the console version, check the syntax; there are new options available
