Now that the Holidays are over and football playoff games are done with for this season ( Seahawks did not make it, so will have to root for the NY Giants ), time to get back to making some new tracks. I hope to put together a trackpack and release it when Carpack 3 is done.

Note: I can't make brand new tracks, only can reroute where the cars race, change cars starting positions and move objects around and add copies of objects already in the game and show up on that track. Cannot make brand new objects to add to the game.

So give me your ideas and if I like your idea, will give it a try.  Wink

Can't help you there pitch, you would have to get BugBear to add bots to the game.

dirt ovals anything good for contact without objects would be cool

Only track I see that fits that description is Arena track - Sand Speedway. If I remove all the cones and tires, would that work for you NZOLR?

Here link at Heddly site to a movie of Shadow idea for a new track ( ignore the AI cars running around ) oops got to redo video, forgot a loop  Tongue  It fix now, Shadow reminded me that I miss one of the loops.

Not finding much I can do with the timberlands tracks thanks to sink holes and guardrails, but did find some rocks to climb, so will make a rock climbing race course. I remember someone asking about rock climbing somewhere.

Yes its very possible to change what ai drive for each class. In fact we have 5 or 6 done already, you can only run one aimod at a time by using mod manager. A group has submitted there list with what custom cars they want ai driving for each class , then i edit the needed files and presto. Now when in career or single race, the ai cars only drive those custom cars that were picked for that persons custom ai mod.bfs.

Well NZOLR, arena tracks about all you got to pick from unless you want to try something on the forest or field tracks. Let me no what tracks you want me to clean up and if you want i can swap geometry files of the stock arena tracks and you could use a bfs file right now.

Why not make up a new dynamic bfs file  with all the objects disliked with low or no values to cause any interference with cars.

I'd like to see something like Hazard Hollow with gas bottles/land mines. Maybe make some tanks for a derby too.  Grin

Oh yes purple, don't forget the idea to use the first straight away of hazard hollow as a dirt drag strip, finish line at the highest peak in road near first turn. You finish and land in them poles  Smiley

Ya that would let all custom cars get up to top speed and go a ways before race finishes. Smiley

Don't think there any gas bottles in the field tracks to use Heddly. I wanted to make that mine field in the DD pack, but could not come up with a good way to hide the gas bottles on the track.

Hmm that an idea, it's been mention before about doing a junkyard. I think I will take a look at the field tracks and see it there a good place for a junk yard. Can't have it out in a field, the cars would be to slow.
