need help to play on LAN!! (not enough with 8 players)

Hi, Iīm new in this. Iīve installed fo2 in about 14 pcs but the problem is that the maximum default players on lan is 8, so we canīt play all together. Is there any way to fix that??

Hello, for play with more 8 player you can go to the file .cvg and modify the number to the number of player that you need.

facumastandrea, I think new FOJ member burrito is pulling your leg. 

For one thing, you would have to unpack the FO 2 game bfs files so you could edit the files. Two, if you were able to change the code to allow 12 players over a LAN, you would have to add new startpoints so there a total of 12, for each track and derby. Without the extra startpoints, 4 of the cars will start on top of 4 of the other cars that are on the ground.

Like what happen in my Crane derby pit since there only room for 6 startpoints up on the platform.

thanks, Iīve been tryng to do it, Iīve changed a few files but when I try to create a new lan game, it only let me 8, can you give me some more help please?

I can't help you there, I don't know how to right new code. That was Muratus, Baku, GulBroz and Pav field.

I got to help test a 12 player Flatout 1, that did not pan out. Don't remember if a 12 player Flatout 2 mod was ever tried. All our posts of the early days of Flatout 2 got lost in a server hard drive crash.
