This is my NASCAR NEXTEL Cup and Craftsman Truck Series Racing Pack.I figured out how to get the cars from my NASCAR Racing Sim game into Zmod by using 3dSim Editor.

There are 3 NEXTEL Cup cars,a Chevy,Dodge and a Ford and 3 Craftsman Truck Series trucks,a Chevy,Dodge and a Ford also.I have the NEXTEL Chevy in game and that is why I decided to go ahead and pick my spots for the Custom Car Pack2.  Grin

Cool Heddly, oh btw, if your pack is complete or out on public beta before car pack 1 is filled ,, you can bet its going in pack 1  Tongue  The unreleased beta's or unfinished cars should be bumped to pack 2.

That sound ok to me Shadow.I'm going to finish the cars first before I do the trucks, that way I won't be holding too many open spots.May we could have a limit on the number of car slots a car maker can hold at one time?

Thanks pking.Dennis is working his magic as we type.  Cool

Yep i know Heddly, i tested the second one with new settings, it is actualy a little slower more or less the times i make on the short asphalt tracks with the insetta.
But i think its smoother now also with a wheel.
And it is fun driving it:-)

I have the Chevy done except for the menu car,I think I will wait to see what numbers they will be so since the tire numbers have to match the menu car.I hope I have better luck than I have been having.

Dennis that last car.bed you sent is fast as in Fast and Furious, made me feel like I had an angry wife on my tail and this is what I need to to save it.  Grin

The car has a much better interior now.I found it when I started looking for the part that covered the blue things on the dash. What a nice part too.The Dodge is ingame with the new cockpit and the Ford will have it soon.

LOL BadMojo

I'm getting down to a menucar for the Chevy, body damage and tuning for the Dodge also and the Ford needs all that and the cockpit merged.I was looking for a cooling fan for the cars and this is what happened.  Grin

I've had my eye on the Crusader for a while and couldn't resist it once i had it opened in Zmod.I think I'll put a nice motor and side pipes on it if I can find them  Roll Eyes

I like chopped tops.It was easier than I thought.I was concerned about the top of the doors lining up but I just selected the upper vertices and came straight down on the y axis in the left view and they lined up.  Cheesy
I got lucky there.I bet a car with a lot of curvature to it would have problems, have you tried it?

I was thinking, instead of the bed being chopped I could raise it up and make it taller   Huh?

Well I am running into a few problems with the MobCar in that extent. Cause in order to make it look like the 40 I took out the choptop.

That included moving the doors up as well.
Also if you notice i rounded the front end completely and put on a hood..
Also removed the front headlights and those were molded into the fenders.

I have the cars just about complete and need some testing to see if there is anything that might need adjusted or fixed.Dennis did the engine and I tweaked the suspension,Show fixed the engine sound on the Dodge.I don't have one for the Ford but am using a combination of the Chevy and Dodge so let me know if that works. The cars only have 1 skin to keep the file size small.

I will be working on the menu cars so who knows how long that might be.  Tongue

I got a message that the upload folder was full or the file was too big so I ul'd it to RapidShare

http://rapidshare.com/files/9698016/NextelCup_beta.rar.html

##edit

I forgot to mention to put the NextelCup_beta.bfs into your game folder and list the NextelCup_beta.bfs in your patch like this

patch1.bfs
CustomCarMod_v1_2.bfs
NextelCup_beta.bfs

The cars are 84 Dodge,85 Ford and 86 Chevy
