Want a new Flatout for the PC? If yes, then we need your help.

After checking out these links, thought I should find out if there will be a PC version. I found out Team6 will need to get a green light form Zoo Games before they could get going on a new PC version of Flatout.

So this where we need the help of the Flatout community, please take the time to send an email to Zoo Games, asking Zoo Games to please give Team6 the green light to make a PC version of the new Flatout for the Wii. Here a link to contact page:

Edit: It been confirm that Team6 has gotten the OK from Zoo Games to make a better, bigger version of Flatout for the PC!!

I sent them an e-mail asking if they were, and why I (we) want a PC version. I also mentioned that they should release a SDK for it if they release a pc version.
They e-mailed me back and said they forwarded the e-mail to the development team

Good news you got a response back from Zoo Games, I have not gotten an email back from them yet.

Did you use the contact link I posted above or did you find an email address for Zoo Games to use?

I just did a little survey to see which game has more players online, Blur ( little over 4 months old ), GRID ( 2 1/4 years old ) and Flatout 2 ( 4 years old ). I did this survey at about peak online time, Saturday 12:30pm pacific time. A good time to catch EURO and US players online.

Blur 35 players
GRID 154  players ( that rank, non-rank and private and added 5 full 12 players hosts to the count )
Flatout 2 stock: 63 hosts - 189 players
Flatout 2 carpack3: 30 hosts 102 players

Between stock Flatout 2 and our modded Flatout 2 with carpack 3, that's 291 players online. More than Blur and GRID put together. That pretty good for a 4 year old game.

 I am probably one of the Flatout 2 carpack3: 30 hosts 102 players that you are speaking of Purple44. I have been racing that lately since the Sunday Host has been dormant.I was tired of the same cars anyway.

Well the Flatout series was dead, but Zoo Games bought the rights to Flatout from Empire Interactive when they went out of business last year.

FlatOut Publishers Headed For A Crash

Zoo Games been publishing Wii games and some PC games. I hope the new Flatout sell real well on the Wii ( I think it should ), then maybe Zoo Games be more incline to doing a PC version. Since we have not gotten any word yet from Zoo Games that their ready to give Team6 the green light on making a PC version.

I'm afraid Zoo Games will wait until after the release of Wii version of Flatout before they make a decision. But hopefully we got Zoo Games now looking into the idea of making a PC version of Flatout. That there is interest out there for a PC version.

Well I am still hopin for good news Purple....sure have had a bunch of fun with FO1-Fov3 & FO2& Comm. mod over the past few years and last night was no exception. Had a blast with all the guys again, pretty much a full server of capable racers all evening ,teamspeak connected...about 3 hours (and 5 beers)worth of good times and close racing. Sure would be nice to have some new tracks and cars and a new version of Flatout...wouldn't have to be much different to keep me entertained.
