because I created it from Muratus's CustomCarMod and Baku's SingleRaceOptions Mod.I combined the 2 and edited the SingleRaceOptions to accept 90 cars.I didn't make the mod myself so I can't give it away without their permission. All I did was edit them.

Purple and I tested it online this morning and it worked. We were concerned about causing problems in multiplayer mode.It looks like it will be a part of the V2 Mod at this point.   Wink

Heddly we need to get your version of Custom car mod\ single player options into the car pack.

Now that I've got to use it, it's a great tool. Instead of watching slow moving derby cars going around the track I'm tweaking, I can change them to street cars and have them drive better!! Grin  And I can change the lap count too!

And there seem to be a lot of people who just race off line ( booo  Wink ) with our mods, I'm sure they would like the single player options to use with the custom cars!

So Mur, Baku what you say?  Please. Pav, Shadow you have the ear of Mur or Baku?

Heddly, if you haven't got answer from Mur about combining the mods, maybe you can just upload your version of the SRO mod? It should be no problem to have them as separate bfs, as you only need to edit the SRO, right?

Of course it wouldn't work properly without the custom cars, but everyone wanting to use it will already have them anyway. Though it probably would be possible to make the SRO mod smart enough to recognize how many car there are and set numbers accordingly, but is there any point in that...  Smiley

Yeah Purple the reason I made it is because it's great for modding cars or tracks as well as racing something better than a beat up derby car.  Cheesy

I have had quite a few requests for it.I even had one from YouTube after they watched one of the Nextel Cup car videos.  Grin

Now why didn't I think of that !!!   Huh?

If Mur is going to increase the number of custom cars in the V2 Mod then it will have to be edited anyway. Now if I can just remember my lines (to edit for the new number of cars ).   Roll Eyes

Use diff tools between the original and your modified file to find out the changes you've made. (Check here for a list of diff tools). ExamDiff and WinMerge are good, WinDiff may do the job. Better use one that can show files side by side, with colored differences.

Or better: setup a CVS server, so that you can keep an history of all your changes. I use cvsNT as server (free download in upper right corner), and Tortoise CVS as client, that rocks (perfect integration in explorer under windows). Only problem is that CVS concepts are not very easy to understand if you've never worked with versioning systems.
