Yep, it failed... they must be using some kind of exploit in joomla, or they register by hand, then launch the spam bot (or post by hand, if they're stupid enough...)

I agree Purple44, I have deleted Spammers who only had 1 post to delete. I recently had a mamber that had a spam link in his signature. I deleted the link in his profile and did not ban him or her, just to see what would happen. I say give it time, did the Spammer that you are referring to have multiple posts?
