A game that made Bugbear

This is Bugbear's game before they made Flatout, released under Activision Value (Street Legal series):

And surprisingly, while it looks VERY standard, it features realistic damage physics (could be possible that Bugbear uses a modified version of this game's engine for Flatout. Plus ragdoll)

I would imagine what Bugbear learn doing Tough Trucks was carry over to doing the first Flatout.

If I remember correctly, I read article long time go about Flatout 1 and ragdoll was kind of an accident, but got people to laugh so Bugbear develop it more.

Any old timers remember that article?
