I tested, it is giving more trouble in time to open the game, but my bfs does not appear.
In my case, I extract the folder "language" of data.bfs and translate the language. After I created a file called "br.bfs" and added the file filelist. Only it did not appear the game translated.
Awaiting help!

I don't remember how language files worked in FO2 (will have to check tonight, as I don't find my post about editing them, here on FOJ). But I don't think it's as simple as just dropping a new language file (there must be some script editing somewhere - if not database editing).
NM, I found
language tool
, will check your file later.
BTW, for work in progress files, better upload them somewhere outside FOJ (megaupload, or whatever you like), and just copy/paste the links here.

I used this language editor. I thought about it too, should have some file that calls the languages, I'm thinking they should be the file that is inside the data.bfs "database/game.db.
This language file that I translated, is not complete, only edited some lines in order to test and know if it works in the game.
Thanks for the support.
Edit: File game.db is encrypted, need password.
I tried open with MS Acess and Paradox Viewer, both need a password.

There was some problems in BFSpack V2.0, that made a complete mess in file names in bfs in the following cases:
1) when using the gui version of the tool
2) when root dir was not data (console version)
I passed through this as I always used console version, and compressing a "data" directory
Anyway, find below V2.1 that fix those problems (I cannot update the BFSpack download page, for any reasons - I PM Mur & Pav about it, but no response so far)
bhrun, there is a problem in the way you build your bfs: remember that the directory you drop in gui tool (or the directory you give at console version) becomes "data/" directory in bfs (obviously, you packed "language" directory in your bfs, which became "data" in the bfs. To have it right you must copy the language directory IN anoter directory on your computer - name it "data", "wrk", or whatever you want, then drop this directory into gui tool).

Here is a link to a
FOUC_Surface Conversion Tracks Beta Post.
You can try it and test for me if you want. Look for textures that don't match the road type (Asphalt or Dirt) and anything else you find wrong.

New to the game and from what I can see you can not currently mod FO:UC yet.
Is this correct?
And if so is there any news as to the progress of doing so.

You can't mod the cars or tracks physically but you can edit the scripts,except the game.db file.
