Hi everyone,

My nick is Ikarus and today I joined to this community, because I love the Flatout series, specially the first one.

For now I'm working on a mod for F01,I know that is old, but I think that it have something "magical". So I tried to do some things without results then I will ask you about that to see if somebody can give me a bit of light Smiley

Shadows:
I've seen that dynamic objects don't project shadows except cars and dummies, is there some way to do that or it is necessary work over the shadowmap?

In this case are there some tool for work on it?

Particles:
In this sections i worked wiht the water making the movement more realistic but in fact, my desire is work on the clouds of dust(i.e forest), I've looking for that again and again without result. What I want, is the tails of dust more longers and biggers.

Splitscreen:
I've seen this option on some scripts and I get to work it for 2 and 4 player whith a minor (big) bug... all the cars are controlled by the same controller. I can't found any way to asign one controller for every player/car... any ideas?

I'm graphic and product designer not programmer, so in this issues I'm going bad...

Well I hope somebody can help me on this...

Ups! I almost forgot...my mod is an HD texture Pack... actually I'm working on the forest track Smiley

Sorry for my english but it isn't my mother language Embarrassed

Hi, can't help with the other stuff, but have work with the lightsmaps when making new minimaps for my new custom tracks.

To get dynamic shadows for the objects in Flatout 1, I think you would have to write some new code for Bugbear engine. Would be a big task.

I don't remember if even Ultimate Carnage has dynamic shadows for the objects. Sorry can't help ya on this one. It is a little weird to see all them black circles on the track after you have knock the cones away.
