Hey guys, I wouldn't have come to you for this, but I have no idea how to do it. So I'm asking that you guys make a derby track for me. I would like it to be square/rectangular. Flat and on mud. But I want it to be small. Like 1/4 the size of the gas station derby. Something a bit smaller than the size of the part  on the long side that is all dirt opposite the gas station part.

If it cannot be done, or my request is confusing. Let me know please.

I'll throw you some $ on paypal for this. Seriously, It's something I have to have Smiley

Thanks guys,
-Mo

Derbying is awesome until you start putting things that are larger than the canyon, or faster than the road king into it. (Aside from school buses of course) =D

Im afraid that Flatout Ultimate Carnages tracks are impossible to edit. That would work ALOT better in Fo1 or Fo2...

Sad Noooo. I was really hoping this could be done. I am sad to hear this. Thanks for the quick reply. Maybe I'll have to fire up FO2 again and check it out.

At one time I was hoping to do some new tracks for UC if possible, but when Bugbear ignore the PC Flatout community and just ported UC 360 version to the PC without any new tracks or cars ( Flatout 1 cars don't count ) or finishing Tag mode and did not have PONG racing on the Speedbowl track ( the best track for a PONG race in FO 2 community mod ), I took a pass on doing new tracks for Ultimate Carnage.

In 2008 after release, there was only around 3000 copies sold in 2 months ( that how many players showed up in the UC stats at that time. Online was dead. No use making new custom tracks and derbys if I can't enjoy them online with other players. Sad

Here some videos of the derby pits I did for Flatout 2:

I also made a derby version of my junkyard track in this video:

All these new derbys are in part 5 of FOJ community mod for FO2.

There are a couple of other Modders who created custom tracks for FO2 who would hopefully make new tracks for FOUC but it takes a lot of work and testing to get it right.

Like Purple44 said, FOUC wasn't a big seller at the time but has sold a lot of copies recently via Steam that I can race on-lone every night now. What a comeback!

The game was falsely claimed to be "FO2 on Steroids". There is a lot more to it that makes it better than FO2 IMO. Sadly there was not anyone willing to make a filter to import the cars into a 3D program like "Zmoldeler2, thanks Oleg!" and the dreaded Games For Windows Live that really drove people away from the game.

Purple44 explains it the best:

The problem with Microsoft's GFWL is it divide the online racing community!! If you do not live in one of the supported countries ( only 26 supported countries at the time DIRT 2 got release ), you will be block from racing online. Unless you know the trick to lie when you first set up an GFWL online profile from an unsupported country.

When DIRT 2 ( Codemasters first GFWL game )went up for pre-order on Steam, there was no warning about GFWL and the unsupported country issue and it took Codemasters 2 month after release of DIRT 2 before Steam DIRT page got updated with this information.

By then a lot players got screw over ( block form racing DIRT 2 online ) by GFWL! Sad

"Don't feel right buying DIRT 2 if others are getting screwed out of their hard earn dollars."
GFWL stole my game

Codemasters has finally seen the light and has stop using GFWL!!!! Now I can buy GRID 2 when it come out next year. Smiley

I have uploaded a couple of Track Mods for FOUC, you might enjoy them. Cheesy

Yeah, the game really is way too unpopular. I think part of the problem is that people never come onto sites like this to see if anyone else actually plays. If 50% of the PC players that owned FOUC were on here. We could have full lobbies very often. And awesome tournaments
