I thought that i would like to make higher resolution textures for the suspension in the career tuning menu. I have 3 questions, that i need awnser to:

1. What files are for the suspension textures in tuning menu? (And where they are?)

2. How i need to save my dds's to make them work correctly? (DXT3, DXT5, Generate Mip-Maps etc.)

3 What program i have to use to pack Fo1 bfs's. The one i'm using does pack the files, but the files don't have effect in game.

So i really hope that someone awnsers me that i can make skins to Fo1.

Could do a search of your \data folder for dds files and use thumbnail view. Skip over the texture files in the track folders.

Save textures as DXT3.

Are you using makebfs.exe and a filler file if needed?

Purple, help! I found the files and edited 'em and packed by using that bfs maker, but as last time, the bfs does'nt have any effect in game! Oh, please fix the bfs or tell me whats wrong!

Had a post all ready to go, but lost it when I went to post because FOJ log me out and Firefox does not cache my post l;ike Netscape did.  Cry

So short story, I think your bfs file is missing the \data folder, can't unpack it to see for sure:

\data\tracks\menu\textures

Also had to use a filler file to get new bfs file to work. texture-test.bfs file is attach below and it can be unpacked. Rename file to anything you want.

      [2] = "FOV3-CustomCars/HeddlysFOV3Pack.bfs",
      [3] = "FOV3-CustomCars/Hedllys_FOV3_CP2.bfs",

Not that I refuse to click "keep me log in" option, is that I forget to click it half the time and then forget to log back out now and then.  Tongue

Well, Purple, you got my mod working! You can download it too! It contains:

Sprunk vending machine from GTA IV to the menu.

A little edited textures for the suspension parts in the tuning menu.

Better dust particles from FO:UC.
