FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage Racing to PCs

Empire Interactive and WBIE announce that FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage, now out for the 360 in Europe, will be racing onto PCs, just like the first two FlatOut games. Plans for a PC edition of Bugbear's racing game were included in an announcement of plans to release the game for PCs and Xbox 360 in North America this fall.

Hey Merlin you got a link to this announce? Spikey from BugBear posted a few days ago BugBear did not plan to release a PC versions.

.... PS2? Where do they come up with this? AFAIK there's no PC version coming either, unless I haven't been told everything and someone's secretly developing it really really fast - we're not!

There is PSP version coming, but it's not done by us and I believe there's a nifty mixup going on (and spreading).

Well, after going to IGN.com, and reading the "E3 List" of games announced at E3 that will be coming out, FOUC will be coming out for X360, PSP, and PC. It will also be published by Warner Bros. Interactive.

Oh and at the EB Games site, the PC version has changed names, and the PSP version added. Both called "Flatout: Head On" on their site.

Ahh we will know the truth by Christmas. 

Does this mean Sierra won't be the USA distributor this time around?

I'll have to go check and see if Warner Bros has a new Flatout forum.

Well, only time will tell. For now, there's hope.

With the amount of sites/events it is being posted at (IGN.com, EBGames, E3 Games Expo, etc.) about FOUC coming to PC, either someone is lieing and nobody is doing anything about it, or nobody is doing anything about it because it will come out for pc

for now all we can do is post more info as we find it on what is happening with the Flatout series on PC

Well its no wonder the sales don't take off for a game like this, where is the bloody advertising. A few months after nfs carbon released, and you see nfs pro street being advertised. By the time its released everyone knows about it , craves it , then buys it and EA makes a ton of cash.

Based on e-mails that people have recieved from bugbear in response about FO:UC coming to the PC, expect the PC version to be removed from here, as Bugbear (the developers of the Flatout series), said that it is a 360 exclusive and will not be released on the PC.

Flatout ultimate carnage will be released under the name Flatout head on, according to gamespot
